Reflections on a 3-day weekend
Written in rehab 2001
Friday Marci and I left the world and drove out to dogland. We stayed till Monday. The following is my emotional reaction to this experience, as opposed to a factual detailed account. {See factual detailed account}
Friday through Monday despite the worst heat of the year, Marci and I spent time together, took walks, cooked and enjoyed a wonderful gourmet pizza. Watched a movie and slept late. Emotionally my reaction was I love Marci, she has spent a lot of time in hospitals with m.s. and she is very understanding and helpful to me. I believe the reason God sent this bad wreck to me, is to show me Marci’s strength as a friend, and to show me my weaknesses as well, to bring us closer together as man and woman. I love you Marci, thank you for being my friend.
